About EBOMAC

Electrical Boards Manufacturing Company(EBOMAC), popularly known as “EBOMAC” in Kuwait was established in 1979 with the intention to manufacture and deliver electrical switchboards up to rated voltage of 12KV to local industries and electrical contractors. With the ambition to lead the market in switchboard manufacturing business and to deliver the quality products and dedicated services, the company has give high priority  in the development activities of the products and training needs of the personnel, with modernization of manufacturing equipments and machineries to avail the latest technological advantages. At present the company remains as the main source for the design and supply of electrical switchboards to Oil companies, refineries and major development projects in Kuwait.

As Design parameter and Standards changes, as the products are developed to provide better ‘Services’, assured ‘Performance Guarantee’ and Safety ‘Requirements’. “EBOMAC” ensure that all products are tested as per the requirement of International Standards.

Since the competition in price is noted in recent periods, “EBOMAC” has maintained the leading position by providing engineering services and complete local support at site to design the switchboard to comply with specific project requirements and dedicated services at installation and commissioning period without compromising on it. Quality assurance of the products needed for the paneling whether and temperature conditions in the various project sites. Also, the full range of switchboards for the entire electrical installation up to the rated voltage of 12KV together with installation, commissioning services ensure the customer reliability and timely project deliveries.

“EBOMAC” has recently added complementary products to its switchboards, which are Cable Management Systems, containing: Cable Trays, Cable Ladders, Cable Trunking and Electrical Installations fittings. Again, we are gaining the popularity in these products ranges for the simple reason that we are capable of manufacturing the products to meet local regulations, site conditions and tailor-made to site measurements ensuring timely deliveries.

In other words, “EBOMAC” set the trend in the local market to sell the “Services” and “Engineering Support”, and the “Products” become part of the package.

    EBOMAC Low voltage and Medium voltage switchboards are type tested in international independent testing laboratories and certified by international certification bodies like “ASTA, KEMA & ACAE” The switchboards designed and tested complying to the latest international standards (IEC/BS) and local regulations (MEW-S1). The switchboards also complies to ‘Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)’ & ‘Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC)’ specifications. Some of the key areas where EBOMAC switchboards are installed for more than 2 decades are Oil companies, refineries, commercial complex, industries, residential areas, MEW substations, pumping  stations, treatment plants etc. EBOMAC also manufactures the products to meet the site conditions and tailor-made to site measurements.

    Low Voltage Automatic Transfer switches (ATS):

    EBomac ATS with enclosed type construction, available in wide range from 30A to 4000A. Electrically & mechanically interlocked ACB type ATS available for ratings 600A & above.     Medium Voltage Switchboards :

    Type SR / SRU switchgears represent latest M.V. switching equipment in industry, commercial and utility installations involving transformers, feeder circuits, transmission & distribution lines, motor controls. These switchgears have been developed and tested in accordance with the IEC standards 60298 & 60294 so as to comply with the highest operation & safety standards.
